Old Designs or Challenges and their Tackle
Scroll Animation to Introduce the Company
One of the early design ideas was to include a scroll-based animation as an engaging introduction to the company. It was made to tell the story of the company as well as the solutions offered. It added a dynamic and interactive touch to the homepage, helping capture user attention during the brand’s initial launch phase when visibility was still growing.
However, as the company gained traction, the animation was later removed to improve overall user experience. This decision helped reduce excessive scrolling, enhance load time, and significantly boost website performance, ensuring a smoother, more efficient browsing experience.
Homepage Hero Section - Tackling the Legacy Challenge
Presenting the rich legacy of the Bajaj Group on the homepage hero section was an interesting and evolving design challenge. The section went through three major stages before reaching its final form today:
Initial Design: The first version of the hero section did not render as intended across all devices. The layout frequently appeared horizontally stretched on certain screen sizes, leading to inconsistent visual output.
Responsive Redesign in HTML: To resolve the stretching issue, the hero section was redeveloped in HTML, a change that became possible after removing the earlier scroll animation. The new version used 2–3 layered elements: background gradient, images representing the legacy and supporting text. Each layer was carefully positioned for balance, and the responsiveness was fine-tuned through code to ensure a consistent experience across all device sizes. The background gradient was also softened to draw more focus to the imagery and text.
Carousel Implementation: To make the hero section more engaging and interactive, it was transformed into a carousel. The entire banner was built to be fully authorable, allowing easy content updates without deployment dependencies, ensuring long-term flexibility and smoother content management
